Holy Spirit was teaching me about faith one and He showed me a picture of how faith is. I was at the top of a mountain standing on the edge of a cliff. The edge of the cliff was covered in fog, I could not see the cliff. The lord spoke to me and told me to keep moving forward. In the back of my mind I was saying to myself that if I keep moving forward, I will fall of the mountain. I chose to trust God and moved forward. As I was moving forward, I realized that there was no cliff, there was a lot of land to walk on. it looked like it was a cliff because of the fog.

            The fog can be anything or anyone preventing us from stepping out and believing God. When we are in the edge of the mountain season, this is the season when God is leading us to make a step of faith, we must remember that God is with us. The verses below are some of my favorite verses when I need encouragement to make a bold step.

Hebrews 10:35 -39, “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, and Hewho is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.”

            We are not those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe and step forward. The fogs of life are used to confuse and lie to us. The enemy will use anything he can to prevent us from obeying God, but we must decide to walk by faith and not by sight.

            I pray that everyone reading this will get anointed with boldness to step out and believe God.
